Scrapbags Spring Retreat

Hope everyone has had a lovely weekend.  It made such a pleasant change for the sun to be shining.  Mark actually stoked up the barbecue tonight, although we ate inside.

So today's post is a break from card making. I thought I would share some of the pages I've completed for Emily's 18th birthday album  I made some of the pages the week leading up to my retreat (the children had gone to stay with their grandparents for the week), and some were made whilst I was away.

I had a great time.  The hotel was very comfortable, they fed us delicious food, regularly, and I was with a great crowd of people.  My attempts at teaching crochet to one of my fellow Scrapbaggers wasn't terribly successful, we had a real laugh anyway!

I've used a variety of papers and materials, but the keen eyes amongst you will surely spot the SU products!

I hope you enjoy.

Well, for those of you that stuck with it, I thank you!  Any comments, as always, are greatly appreciated.

Take care

Michelle x

  1. Wow...did you do all that at the retreat? More productive than me! Beautiful layouts, some of which already caught my eye when on the wall for the challenges, and some others I didn't see. I particularly like the eclectic style of the 17th bday layout and the elegance of the christening one.

  2. Wow, wow, WOW! Michelle I'm completely blown away by these stunning pages. Anyone can tell they're a real labour of love and each is so different. Emily is so lucky that you are doing these for her - what a lot of wonderful memories! So pleased you enjoyed the retreat and yes, we all drank in that sunshine too! Enjoy your week, Vicky x

  3. WOW! Wish I was so prolific on the layout fromt. Some lovely layouts her, but my eye keeps going back to 'Celebrate'. THe colours & design really pop. You must surely be getting nearer the end of Emily's album now.

  4. These are brill pages Michelle, I love the one for Emily's 17th, I really want to make one like that myself soon. 2nd fave is the one using the everyday enchantment dsp, the crochet flowers are fab on there. 3rd fave is the celebrate one, I'm definitely going to have a go at one like that. I also don't know why I haven't seen this post before today, it must have sneaked in under the radar. Emily is going to be speechless when she gets this, have the tissues ready!
